It's been a while since you wrote this, and their "ill practices" still continue. Nearly all the customers we pick up have Network Solutions, and every single one goes over to Bulk Register.

The 60 day lock on domains is absurd...just for changing the name servers or contact info.

Network Solutions has gotten better at customer service since the introduction of competition. Just like the Chinese have gotten better at shooting dissidents in the head and pretending like they're a respectable nation.

Network Solution's attempts at defending the indefensible do nothing but increase the contempt people have for their company and its lack of business ethics.

A client of mine lost out on a very valuable domain as a simple result of my having used Network Solutions to check availability.

They are in the same league as Russian spam syndicates.

It's fraud, pure and simple.

Jeremy: It's been a while since you wrote this, but we wanted to follow-up. It should be noted that I work at Network Solutions. We know how important this issue is for everyone, and we're doing something about it. In Paris at next week's ICANN conference this industry can vote to resolve front running for once and for all. Network Solutions is advocating that ICANN acts now, and we have published an official statement on our web site to that end.
