I have been reading a lot on this issue as I manage a team that is spread out over three continents and I know we are feeling the impact of information overload.

In fact, I just read the Basex report (bought it online) "We have Met the Enemy..." on the subject and this made me realize how serious the issue is.

I also took the survey they are conducting on New Workplace Challenges with the hope that providing information on how I work will help them figure out this puzzle.  The survey is at http://www.basex.com/2008poty</description>
