Remember the excuses that you and your friends in high school tried to use on the teacher when you didn’t finish a book report? Corrupted-Files.com is a website where you can buy corrupted files to send to your teacher as your assignment that will buy you hours or even days to work on the real thing. For only $3.95 you can get one of these corrupt files for a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint Document at varying lengths. The website even gives you a step by step guide to e-mailing your teacher and getting away with a… undignified extension.

What’s even funnier about this website is the disclaimer they put within a comment box under the contact link. There they say, “Please Note: I had deadlines with professors too, but I still got my [stuff] done on time – it’s called Red Bull. If you need an extension, just be honest and ask your professor before you use a corrupted file.” It also says, very largely across the top banner, “Keep this Site a Secret!” Oh sorry Corrupt-Files.com, I just saw that… my bad.
